Yes! We serve families throughout Winnebago, Ogle, and Lee Counties—including communities like Rockford, Byron, Rochelle, and Dixon—so kids across northern Illinois can access the programs and opportunities they need. For trips outside your town, you can also explore our Regional Travel options.
We just ask for a little heads-up. In-town rides need at least one business day of notice, and out-of-town rides require at least two business days so we can plan the route and ensure availability. If you want help planning, feel free to reach out through our Contact Page.
Absolutely. Whether your child has practice, club activities, tutoring, or summer camps, we can help get them there safely and on time.
In-town rides follow our standard fare, and out-of-town trips are priced per mile. If you’re planning a longer trip—for example, to Rockford or DeKalb—pricing may vary based on distance and availability. For a full breakdown, check out our Fares page.
Kids should be able to board the vehicle without assistance unless you’ve arranged something specific with us ahead of time. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to talk through accessibility options. You can reach our team anytime.
Our services are available for kids ages 5 and up, including elementary, middle, and high-school students traveling to school or youth programs.

Out-of-town rides (outside zip code):
$0.35 per mile
Other Transportation Information
- Arrangements for in-town rides must be made at least one (1) business day in advance.
- Request for out-of-town rides must be made at least two (2) business days in advance.
- Aides assisting passengers may ride at no cost.
- Passengers must be able to access the vehicle without driver assistance or an aide will be required.
- Long distance trips may be scheduled to locations such as Rockford or DeKalb at the rate of $0.35 per mile and is based on vehicle availability and the Director’s approval.
