College Riders

RMTD offers reliable college transportation services designed to support students commuting to and from Sauk Valley Community College and Kishwaukee Community College in northern Illinois. Qualified riders can take advantage of convenient punch card options, making travel to class easier and more affordable. With curb-to-curb service and accessible vehicles, RMTD helps you stay focused on your education—without worrying about how you’ll get there.

Daily rides are provided for students at Sauk Valley Community College. Sauk Valley Community College offers qualified RMTD college riders punch cards for use on Reagan Mass Transit District transportation. Sauk Valley pick-up and drop-off for college riders is at the east entrance.   

In- and out-of-town punch cards can be purchased directly from the college’s Business Services office, room 1H2.

A daily route to Kishwaukee College students includes stops in Hillcrest and Creston. Currently, RMTD drivers pick up and drop off college riders at Door 6 on the north end of the Student Center.

Kishwaukee College students can purchase bus passes from the college Business Office, room C2140. Refunds for bus fares are 100% during the first week of classes, 50% during the second week of classes, and no refunds after the second week of classes.
