      Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling, with parental consent. In-town ride are defined as inside zip code. Arrangements for in-town rides must be made at least one (1) business day in advance. Out-of-town rides are defined as outside zip code. Request for out-of-town rides must be made at least two (2) business days in advance. Passengers must be able to access the vehicle without driver assistance or an aide will be required. Aides assisting passengers may ride at no cost.

Reagan Mass Transit District welcomes a chaperone on RMTD transportation to accompany persons going to medical appointments.

Only one chaperone on RMTD is allowed per rider. When scheduling your ride to a medical appointment, please make dispatch aware that a medical chaperone will need to ride along with you to the appointment. There is no charge for the medical chaperone. Please be aware that this policy is in effect for local riders only and that Greyhounds policies regarding chaperones differ.
